Have you ever taken part in a tournament?Share your experience with us.I have. I won,but I didn't get the chance to take part in many tournaments,I moved away from he US very soon.

i've collected pokemon cards for about 7 years and i've never played a game of pokemon.

I recommend you try it,it's lots o fun and requires strategy.In fact I recommend it to everybody.Playing the tcg game is twice as fun as just collecting,since you can collect and play,but some people don't like card games , so that's a different story.

I have never went to a tournament.

I've gone to many yugioh ones, even ran several dbz events where I used to live... But I've only been to one pokemon tournament. I was a real n00b and lost every game. I only had half a deck, couse' my friend, well actually he was kind of a d***, decided to make one really good deck and enter as a team.

They wouldn't let us enter together, but instead made each of us us use 30 random cards from the deck. Needless to say, I lost every game.

I have never even heard of a tournament taking place near me, therefore I never played in a tournament. Hence, I never won a tournament XD

I don't know if I even want to play in a tournament now... I was reading up on some of the new rules and whatnot, and apparently the only legal cards are from sets I've never even heard of.

There's also another format which allows more than just the recent sets, but even that list doesn't go far back enough to allow anything I own. I thought when the game rights were bought out, that the new cards were compatible with the old.

No, we have never had tournaments in Northern Ireland.

Never been to one. Mainly because I don't know how to play XD
